How to Join NYOC 

First: Get a Sponsor

(Remember, you can take our training classes without being a member of the Club! But, if you want to join, below is what to do:

Your sponsor must be a current member of the Club. If you have taken classes with us, this could be your instructor. It could also be a friend or relative who is a club member. If you do not have a sponsor, come out to an event and meet some of the members. If this is not possible, email nyoc.membership@gmail.com. Our membership coordinator will get back to you to chat about why you would like to join the Club and what NYOC can offer you. The membership coordinator can also be your sponsor.

(Junior memberships are also available to those 18 years of age and younger. We have a number of adults in the Club who started as junior members and carried on to participate fully in Club activities.)

Second: Complete the NYOC Membership Application

(Remember, you can take our training classes without being a member of the Club! But, if you want to join, below is what to do:

    1. Download and fill out the NYOC Membership Application Form. (Be sure to download the file before you fill it out). Fee schedule is on the form.
    2. Save and send the application file via email to nyoc.membership@gmail.com.

 

Third: Pay

    1.  To pay via Interac e-Transfer, click here.
    2. To pay online using PayPal or Credit Card,  click here.
    3. To pay via cheque, send the completed application form and your cheque to NYOC and sent to North York Obedience Club, Inc., Box 370 – 6021 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario, Canada, M2M 3W2.

 

Annual Membership Dues

Here is the information you need to renew your yearly membership:

  • For adults (over 18) ………………….$30.00 for the 1st Adult Member
  • Family rate is……………………….……$15.00 for each additional adult member living at the same address
  • For Junior Members (under 18)….$15.00

 

How to Pay:

(You do NOT have to send in a Membership Application but it helps our membership  coordinator if you send an email to her at  (nyoc.membership@gmail.com) saying that you have paid.)

  1. To renew by using Interac e-Transfer click here.
  2. To renew online using PayPal, click here.
  3. To renew by cheque, make the cheque out to NYOC and send it to North York Obedience Club, Inc., Box 370 – 6021 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario, Canada, M2M 3W2. Please indicate that the cheque is for membership renewal. Please also send an email to the Membership Coordinator (nyoc.membership@gmail.com) saying that you have sent a cheque.
